Players in Baseball AAA, Minors, and Majors Divisions have been or will be contacted to participate in tryouts for the Spring 2010 season.
Tryouts are an important event which serve two primary purposes: (1) to ensure that a player’s skill level is appropriate for a given division of play; and (2) to assist in forming teams with comparable overall talent levels. During tryouts, a player’s skill level in basic categories such as hitting, fielding, throwing, and pitching is evaluated. These evaluations are considered when players are assigned to teams for the spring season.
There are a few things that are very important for parents to keep in mind:
· Tryouts take place at the indoor facility at West Windsor Community Park
· Players should not wear cleats
· Players should bring their own baseball glove
· Players can, but are not required to bring their own bats and batting helmets
· Players should arrive 10 minutes before their scheduled tryout time
· Parents are not permitted to be inside the indoor facility during the tryouts
If you have any questions about tryouts, please contact the coordinator for your child's league.
