2008 Baseball Tournament 7s

First Tournament Experience
The WWLL 7-Year-Old Tournament Team finished its first tournament strong with the boys really fielding and hitting with consistency. Unfortunately, they lost Luke Potts to a non-game injury and he's now out with a broken arm; Luke, the team will miss you!
They started their second tournament, the 6/11 Tournament, on July 19th with some great fielding against Marlboro. Will Marsh, Evan Robinson, William Raeter, Charlie Dey and Eric Hendershot all had some good plays and Aaron Kats and Jack Dileo highlighted the day with line drive catches.
In their second game WW's bats finally came alive against Cranbury-Plainsboro. Aaron Kats, William Raeter, Charlie Dey and Eric Hendershot all had hits and the consistent power hitting of Jack Dileo, Will Marsh, and Evan Robinson drove in runs.
The boys play again next Saturday, July 26th at 1:00 against the tournament host team, Six Eleven.

The West Windsor 7-Year-Old All Stars had there first tournament experience this past weekend in the Sunnybrae Little League Tournament.

The boys, Aaron Kats, Charlie Dey, Evan Robinson, Jack Dileo, Luke Potts, Samrath Singh, Will Marsh and William Raeter, first game was against a good Nottingham team but the boys held their own. They made good plays in the field and batted well. It was apparent that their regular season coaches taught them a lot.

Then in the second game against Ewing the boys really looked impressive. They made a lot of really good plays in the field and even had a 1-2-3 inning. Hits were had by all and the boys ran the bases well.

The boys will see action again this Saturday and Sunday against the tournament hosts Sunnybrae and the always powerful HTRBA.
