Fall Softball Pitching Clinics

Fall Softball Season is just around the corner.  Has your daughter expressed interest in pitching for her little league team this spring season?  Is your daughter curious about what it is like to be a softball pitcher?  WWLL is offering pitching lessons with Ashleigh Johnson of Game Time Performance.
You can sign up now at www.wwll.org.
Here are the details:
  • Instructor:  Ashleigh Johnson of GTP
  • Days:  Friday evenings
  • Dates:  September 14, 2018 to November 2, 2018 (8 sessions)
  • Times:  6-7pm (Beginners) 7-8pm or 8-9pm (Intermediate/Advanced)
  • Location:  WWLL Indoor Facility
  • Cost: Beginner $95 Intermediate/Advanced:  $175 (WWLL/CPLL)

Please note that the Beginners Session is offered at a reduced price since we would like to encourage the younger players to start developing their skills and there are a couple of more girls in each class.

Each girl will need to attend the clinic with someone who can catch for her.
Makeup classes will be held ONLY if the instructor cancels classes.  It is possible that these make up classes will be held at Game Time Performance, depending on space availability.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at softball- .

Ben Ruta Joins Trenton Thunder

Trenton Thunder Media Day 2018. Ben Ruta, who played for the West Windsor-Plainsboro South baseball team (Michael Mancuso)

WWLL & HS South's own Ben Ruta joins Trenton Thunder to start 2018 season!

It has been nearly six years since Ben Ruta last tore up the pitcher's mound in Mercer County, as a member of the West Windsor-Plainsboro South baseball team.

But fans of the talented outfielder will not have to wait much longer to see him in action.

Ruta made the jump from Class A Charleston to Double-A Trenton, and will start the season as one of four outfielders on the Thunder roster.

The 23-year-old Wagner University product will get a chance to play often, in the stadium which he grew up attending for many Thunder games.
